Umberto's Pizzeria
My new addiction...I just can't seem to get enough of this place.
The pics does not do this sicilian justice (I messed up - I didn't take them from the right distance). Their sicilian is one of the best, if not the best sicilian around. It might be because I love bread but I think the best part of the pizza is the crust. It is crisp, light and just wonderful. The sauce is good too.
If you do end up going there, make sure you ask them to warm up the pizza so that it is hot. The temperature makes a world of difference. When it's just warm, the square just ends up tasting average. When it is hot, yum yum yum!
Note: I've had their regular slice and grandma slice. I still think their sicilian is the best.

Carmine's Pizzeria II
Here's another set of pictures from last year (Sept to be exact). So ya, there probably won't be much to read in this post.
I wasn't feeling the sauce that came with the Calamari.

My order...
The pictures look really good imo but I don't remember it tasting that good. I'll give the hero another try one day.
Cute mug;)

Patsy's Pizzeria
Went here late last year with a few friends. A friend had posted pics of her blog a long time ago and ever since then I've been wanting to go. Finally, the time came!
Decor is decent. Not fancy at all but not shabby either.
Complimentary bread. For some reason, this bread reminds me of some pokemon. I don't know which one though...or maybe I'm thinking about some other cartoon.
...and I don't remember how the bread tasted at all ;P
Ordered a pepperoni pie. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed. The pie didn't really look all that great. It didn't taste all that great either. I don't remember the exact reason why I wasn't crazy about it. Maybe it was a tad salty? Don't remember. I think the pizza was a bit too oily for me but you can usually expect that when you have a pepperoni topping.
I remember being kinda disappointed by this too but I don't remember why. I think I'm just not a big pasta person.
Can't say much about this because I don't remember the details. I'm not a big Tiramisu fan so this couldn't have really wowed me.
And...I think I need to start posting my pics soon after I eat at a restaurant because apparently, I don't remember much.
I thought the cappuccino was alright.
Overall, it was an alright experience. Service was alright. I think I need to go back again before I make up my mind about this place.

Di Fara Pizza
So I've read many great things about this place. Being fairly close to my house, I was pretty excited about trying it. I didn't plan on getting it today but BIL bought it up and since I had the day off, I said, why not?
Pic from the outside. Looking at it, it doesn't look like anything special right? I guess this is when I should say...looks can be deceiving...
Here is the famous Dom.
The girl in the left is his daughter. She was super sweet. I didn't expect them to be sweet for some reason.
Here is their menu...yes, your eyes are not deceiving you. Those are the real prices.
Those red peppers were good. It tasted really good on the pizza.
Yea, I know. So many pictures for one pie. So the first thing that came into my mind after my first bite...was that it was a tad salty. I brushed it off and continued to eat.
So overall, the pizza was alright. As mentioned earlier, I found the square slice a tad salty at first. The regular pie was alright too. It was a big soggy. I think that's probably because it took us like 15 mins to get home. If I had to choose, I would say that the square was the best. The bread was good. Family thought so too.
Oh, and the wait when I went wasn't bad at all. We called in earlier to order our pie. Basically, they make it ahead of time and when you get there, I think they put it in the oven for you. It makes sense if you ask me. At least that's what they said. Anyway, we ordered a regular over the phone but when we got there, we decided to order a square as well. I think we were in and out within 10-15 mins? We went today around 2ish.
So...was the meal worth 60 bucks? Eh. Probably not. My experience might have been affected by my hunger though. We got home and basically scarfed down the slices. I definitely want to go again, eat it there and properly enjoy it.

California Pizza Kitchen
Came here with a few friends. I've never been here so I was more than willing to try it out.
Decent size place. I would say this is more of a family place. The wait was about 30 mins? I don't remember. We went during dinner time so a wait was expected.
A couple of people got this. I think one of them liked it and the other one said it was alright? I don't remember anymore. I think that person who said it was "alright" probably said it to be polite ;)
This picture reminds me of school pizza. It's not as bad as it sounds. I loved school lunch ;)
Other friend's dish. This was like a month ago so I don't remember what he thought of it. I think either he or the "polite" guy said the crust was weird tasting. I think he also said it was salty. Not sure.
This was mine. I thought it was decent. Not the best pizza I've had but good enough. I wouldn't order it again though. I had some leftovers and my bro in law took it to work the next day. He came home that night and said "What kind of pizza was that?...It was sweet." It's funny that I didn't think it was sweet at all when I ate it.
Anyway, overall, I thought it was okay. I would go back but probably eat something else. My friends all finished their pizzas so that's a good sign?
Oh btw, our service was eh. Waitress forgot our appetizer and got frustrated with us at the end because we didn't leave right away. She never said anything directly to us. She just took away a utensil or an empty cup like every 8 mins or so (without saying a single word). What a...bum.
