My brother in law and sister did the honors this year..well, they do it every year I think. Besides prepping the turkey before hand, it was an all day cooking event. I think they started working on it around a quarter to 10 and finished around 3:30. We had an early dinner because I had tickets to see a Jets game that night ;)
Anyway, here are the pics.
Here's the turkey right out of the oven.
It was really good this year. The meat was really moist and tender.
Here's the ham. I'm not a big ham person but people seem to like it.

More corn.
Some grilled onions. This was yummy.
Now that I look at this picture, it really doesn't look like we have that much food. It was a lot though...
This is me waiting for the turkey to be cut.
Ahh...finally. So as you can see, I don't have a lot of meat on my plate. Thanksgiving dinner is more about the sides for me. I love me some stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn and then some turkey! I threw in some ham too. This was pretty good for me. I think after this, I probably ate a couple of more small slices of turkey, some more mashed, stuffing and corn. Had to stop myself after that.
This was my sister's plate. She cooked so she got the wing.
We also had dessert (pumpkin cheesecake and tiramisu cake) but I wasn't able to eat any because I had to head out for the game. So no pictures =/
Anyway, I went over on sunday for some leftovers and only found turkey in the fridge! There was no more stuffing or mashed....so sad...
I think they are going to cook again on xmas so I'm counting the days. No game that day so I will be ready to eat...
Don't forget to take pics! You make me want to have a traditional Turkey Day!
