Homemade Waffles (well, kinda)

About a month ago, I heard talks in the house about getting a Belgian waffle maker. So with an abundance of "special points" at my disposal, I got one!

They told me which one and I got it. Pretty nice looking waffle maker imo.

So the process begins...

Aunt Jemima Original Pancake mix...

Pancake mix on the waffle maker...

I think this was like our second try? Not the most pretty waffle but who cares about looks right? ;P

Waffle without the syrup and whip cream.

And here's my waffle.

It was pretty yummy. I think I usually eat about two of these. A whole waffle is just too much for me.

The fruits were good. I guess living with "healthy" individuals has its benefits. I would never have had such a variety of fruits on my own.

And for some reason, we had a side of sausages. Not sure why but I did help myself with one.

Anyway, I think we had waffles on the weekends for like three straight weeks. I guess partly because it's easy to make and because we wanted to use the waffle maker.

Note: For those of you who actually thought I made these waffles, I thank you for thinking so greatly of me ;)

  1. I was about to say how healthy you are eating, but then I saw the sausages. :p

The wafflemaker looks fantastic! I wonder how the Fiber One mix would fair on it.

  2. I second Sharon's comment on the wafflemaker. It looks expensive - I wonder how much it would have been without your "points" :P
