Fried Banana w/ Ice Cream Dessert

Ever since my last Thai meal, I've been craving my favorite Thai dessert. I guess I just wasn't satisfied that day. Since I have been lazy to go back to a Thai restaurant, I decided to look up the recipe. It turned out to be really simple so I finally gave it a try yesterday.


Here are the banana "rolls" before the frying. I just cut up some ripe bananas, placed them in a egg roll wrap and rolled it up. As you can tell, I'm not the best wrapper. I guess I could have made the rolls better looking but it wasn't worth the effort for me.

After this, I pan fried them until they were a bit brown. The oil popped a little when I was frying but no scars so I'm good ;)




It came out pretty decent. But then again, the recipe was so simple.The banana was nice and warm.

Family seemed to like it. I gave my bro some and I believe he came downstairs for more. If I knew that ahead of time, I wouldn't have eaten a second serving.

Yay - one dessert dish to add to my list of "things I can make".
