See that big pile of snow...ahh, seems so long ago since new york turned into north pole.
Tea...made my tummy feel warm...
Standard/complimentary appetizers.
Potatoes..this was pretty good. We asked for seconds.
I think this was for the pancake below..
Hae Mul-Pa Jun - Korean Style Seafood Pancake w/ onion and green onion. - $13 |
I remember this being decent. I've had better pancakes but it did fulfill my pancake craving.
Japchae - Stir-fried vermicelli with thiny sliced carrots, onions, peppers, spinach and beef in a rick soy based sauce - $10 |
I think this was alright too.
And for the main event...(friend's dish btw)
Tofu Stew - $9.95 |
I'm not really sure which tofu stew this was. I tasted a little bit of it and it wasn't that bad. Even though I've developed a liking to tofu these days, I still don't associate tofu as being a good dish at first. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted a small spoonful of this. I'm down to go back and give this another try.
So overall, not my usual type of restaurant but I want to go back and try the tofu stew again.
Oh and I don't really know the exact address of this place. I can tell you that it is on Northern Blvd and it is somewhere before Kyochon. It'll be on your right side. It's pretty bight so it'll be hard to miss.

There's one closer to me at Sunnyside. We should go there when it's cooler or when it's a rainy day.
